As Jayman's response had nothing to do with your question, to the best of my knowledge, Mounts do not stack (I.E. attempting to purchase a pig [-10%] and a Raptor [-30%] does not result in a 40% reduction). What you may be thinking of is the fact that you can purchase the same Mount to add time to the duration of that Mount. If you were to purchase a higher reduction Mount you would simply loose the lower reduction Mount.

See the synopsis of this answer in the Manual HERE.

This is also my understanding of how it works. If you have the 10% mount and decide to get the 20% mount. then you would lose the pig in favor of the wolf or whatever.

If the mount effects stacked it would be very simple to get a 60% decrease using only 16g and 1 mushroom, and no one would ever purchase a griffin.

It would be nice if they did stack, but it would unbalance the game (and fewer people would buy mushrooms).

ah iseeisee
mayhaps i misread somewhere or fabricated it in a delusional state
(insomnia ftw)

or it could be that the durations stack if you buy another of the same species, regardless
thanks for the time answering my question ^.^

That would make sense. If you have a horse and invest another 5g you get another 14 days added on. I'll have to try that.

That is exactly how it works: if you have a mount, and you buy the same mount again, the days over which the mount is active will add. There is no additional effect on the quest time, and it will only work with the same mount, not if you change to another mount.
