Default Game is becoming a bit expensive

Title says it all.

From the point of competetive play this game made a gigantic leap in spending.

It used to be 13 a day (with the mount).

Now you get an additional 20 a day for Wheel of Fortune.

Not to mention that there are occasions when you have to speed up build time.
For example when your defences were crushed and you've been upgrading the Mage Tower, or when you're loosing resources because you're maxed out.


Now don't get me wrong, I really like the Fortress.
But I would suggest that we go back to 10 spins of Wheel of Fortune a day.

They could get rid of and item, this way the wheel would have only 8 outcomes to balance things out.

From a Shroomer Perspective, I disagree on reducing the number of spins. In fact, I would prefer it be increased to 50 spins per day.

From a Non-Shroomer Perspective, I disagree on removing shrooms. It is extremely helpful as an extra boost for a Non-Shroomer. I don't mind removal of experience and gold since neither are very beneficial to the Fortress.

Its so...so discouraging when your only free spin gets you item that sells for very cheap. (I don't even use it in toilet as I dump crystals in there)

I agree with going back to 10 spins a day and maybe getting rid of the item part of the wheel maybe add gems to it instead or another smaller shroom wedge there.

The option to speed up build time with is ok.


I am only saying that 20 per day on a Wheel of Fortune is a bit much.

I agree, 20 (well, 19) per day on the Wheel of Fortune is a bit much to me too... But 10 spins would be too few IMO, especially for non-shroomers who rely on the Wheel of Fortune for a chance at shrooms.

A suggestion:
- Increase number of spins
- Make first 3 spins free (this is in mind for non-shroomers who have no or too few Flying Tube videos available for their countries)
- Make spins cost Lucky Coins only, then have packs of Lucky Coins buyable with shrooms (and keep Flying Tube intact, of course)

Speaking of which, I'm still hearing a lot of complaints from app players as the Flying Tube isn't available to them I don't understand why it hasn't been implemented yet, there are many video ads networks for the mobile platform.

FYI the option to speed up build time gets into the 3000 mushroom range when you hit higher levels, you sure its ok?

I have some new thoughts on the Wheel of Fortune.
After close examination it's not that bad.

On average to make 20 spins a day you spend only 13

And you really get a lot of resources. The smaller pile is 1% of your max capacity, larger pile is 2%.

So on average it's 12% of resources - that's a lot.


Overall my suggestion is this. Push the Wheel one point in our direction and get rid of the Item Reward.
Considering we blow these under a minute each day this change would really push the Wheel to being a great addition.
And it may attract more spenders!

Remove Gold
Remove Experience
Add 1 Mushroom / Keep 3 Mushroom
Keep 1% Wood / Keep 2% Wood
Keep 1% Stone / Keep 2% Stone
Add 1x Weapon Materials / 2x Weapon Materials
Add 1x Armor Materials / 2x Armor Materials

1. Add Materials in the Fortress for Weapons and Armor
i. Weapon Materials (something like)
a. Iron Ore, Iron Ingot, etc
b. Silver Ore, Silver Ingot, etc
c. Platinum Ore, Platinum Ingot, etc
d. Mithril Ora, Mithril Ingot, etc
ii. Armor Material (something like)
e. Copper Ore, Copper Ingot, etc
f. Bronze Ore, Bronze Ingot, etc
g. Steel Ore, Steel Ingot, etc
h. Moon Ore, Moon Ingot, etc

2. Add Weaponsmith and Armorer in the Fortress
i. Weapon Enhancements
ii. Armor Enhancements
iii. Gem Enhancements

3. Add Gold Mine - Similar to Academy

4. Enhance Academy - Higher Hourly Output

Ok, let's take it one thing at a time.

REMOVING GOLD and EXP from WHEEL of FORTUNE

Very unlikely. Playa will certainly want the Wheel to complement the main race of char leveling and they will want people who are less interested in Fortress to spin the wheel.


WEAPON and ARMOR ENHANCEMENTS

I don't think that this is a good thing for the game. We have scrolls for each items and gems. Adding more item upgrades will be a bit "fatiguing".
In short - too much similar stuff is no good.


GOLD MINE for the FORTRESS
Interesting idea. I am not sure if this would be possible. The thing with gold is that from level 1 to 200 your earnings increase very fast and later very little.
Mirroring this process with a gold mine might be very tricky.


However I do think we need some new buildings for the Fortress and you have inspired me to think more about this BMWGuinness.
