I did actually read that. I must have misunderstood your point. I'm indifferent for the most part. I don't see a need either way, though I wouldn't mind if I could 'work' longer for the city guard.

Many of your mentioned 10-12 hour jobs are salaried and not hourly wages. And the ones paid wages that work over 8 get overtime. This isn't the real world, and so your argument there isn't relevant....
