Default Guild Fights

I am trying to understand the real advantage in entering your guild into a guild fight. Is honor the only thing you are fighting for? Do you ever get any special loot, gold or equipment for winning? Other than a level up for +1 attribute, do you get anything else for Honor.

Well if you're the one attacking a guild and you try to go for the guy's that are slightly higher ranked than you, you will also gain EXP on top of just honor. The amount varies by how higher/lower ranked the guild is you choose to fight. This does not apply to defending though.

Hope this helps!
Derek

Guilds high in honor (and thus rank) are also more likely to attract recruits.

It isn't your personal honor that raises, it is the guild's honor that is raised. The attacking guild, if they win, will gain experience every time.

Default But what about gold?

If a guild attacks mine and we have gold and mushrooms in the treasury saving it up for the next guild attribute, can the attacking guild get some of our loot if we fail to defend the battle?

No. Guild Wars do not work in such a fashion.

Guild Battle wins Honor, and experience. This is different from Arena, where you gain no experience. Guild War attacks are, luckily, limited to once every 12 hours, so even the mightiest guild only gets about two long quests worth of experience per day if they consistently win (scaled to level).

Default We were attacked...

...by another guild tonight and they of course won and recieved 100 honor , yet we only lost 10 honor, is this standard? Why didn't we loose what they gained? Isn't this what happens in the arena where the winner gets 100 honor and the loosing character looses 100 honor?

Correction... Every 10hrs with a 90 min cool down if you are the one attacking, so every 11 1/2 hrs

Victory in a Guild War:

Attacker:
In case of victory, the attacker gains Honor (depending on the guilds' difference in Honor). The amount of experience depends on the other guild's Honor. If the attacker loses the war, the guild loses Honor.

Defender:
If an attack is warded off, the guild gains Honor (depending on the guilds' difference in Honor). If the defending guild loses the war, the guild loses Honor.

I recommend you read the game Manual

Default Manual

Yes, I read the manual first and I searched the question as "Bull" has reminded me! I am talking numbers of what happened, both our guild and the attacking guild both had 101 Honor before they attacked. Granted, they had 10 Char.s LVL 40-22 and we have only 5 char.s mainly low level w/ exception of myself @ LVL 25.
My question was why did we loose only 10 honor and they gain 100 honor?
