Remove money cap

Why is there cap on money during gold event anyway? We lose tons of gold because of cap. I can tell because one time I got mission 10m gold ~300k exp and other timr 10m gold and ~600k exp.

Um, the cap has been raised for a long time.

I believe it's now like a billion gold. I know I've never reached it since they raised it, and I get around 600 mill a day on gold weekends.

I think he's talking about the cap on quests and city guard. Although, there's no real reason to remove those caps because 10m is what a stat point takes.

Yes the cap you can earn from guard duty and quest is still 10 mill per quest or 1 mill per hour. as far as I know even non gold weekends quests r capped at 10 mill but guard duty from my understanding does go higher then the 1 mill per hour/10 mill for 10 hours.

so for quests no lost gold for guard duty yes some gold is being lost is it a ton imo not really but yes I do agree the cap has to be removed IF it doesn't cause other issues which I cant foresee any.

That's not entirely true.

When you look at quests in the tavern there is a cap of 10m.
However when you finish such a quest at the summary there's your earned gold and it's usually more then 10m.

So there is a cap, but just a visual one (in the tavern).


As for city guard - yep, it's capped at 1m per hour.


EDIT: Just tested it. Had a mission in tavern with a 10m gold reward. After completing it there was a 11m reward on the screen.

You get the 11 million, I got it a few times this weekend. I believe the extra 10% is from the witch's gold spell.

probity is correct on both counts.

I noticed this a few months ago when I was actually paying attention to the payout at the end of a quest.
