"disarm your weapon"? does this work?
No idea but as longas you have potions you should beat that dungeon as your mirror image doesn't use them.

Hi guys,
I just finished room 9 in dungeon 8, and in dungeon 9 Im at stage 9 too...
Both Intelligence (Mage) mobs, and I wonder why is it written here that the monster in dungeon 8 has almost 1 million health more. I think that it had 1mil and something hp when I battled it. So please check it once more, and edit the post from which we were referred.

All info we have here on the stats for dungeons are from players so if you see something wrong please post the correct info in the dungeon thread and I will correct it.

Is there a thread to bitch about the escalating strength of dungeon monsters? If so, feel free to move it.

For those not aware of the problem, it is this:

As a player's level rises, his rate of increase falls rapidly. Early on a player can jump several levels per day and add many stat points per day. By the time the player reaches level 100 it may fall to 1 level per day. By level 200 maybe 2 days per level. Since I hit level 275, leveling takes more than a week, even with good guild, tower, and scrapbook bonuses and playing 300 min/day. And I only earn enough gold for maybe 2 stat points each to int, con, and luck per day. There will be another major hit to my rate of progression at level 300.

Now even if the strength of the dungeon monsters increased at a constant rate, beating each successive monster would take in increasing amount of time due to the slowdown in leveling. But the reality is much worse. Monsters also increase in strength at an accelerating rate, to the point where the time it takes to beat each successive level becomes absurd. These are the numbers I have saved:

Dungeons 1-121: ~ 10 months, 270 levels. roughly 3 days and 3 levels per dungeon.
Dungeon 122: level 275, 3/8/2013
Dungeon 123: level 276, 3/10/2013 1 level, 2 days
Dungeon 124: level 278, 3/21/2013 2 levels, 11 days
Dungeon 125: level 281, 4/7/2013 3 levels, 18 days
Dungeon 126: level 297, 7/20/2013 16 levels, 104 days

The next dungeon boss is level 385, with 11,670 int and 11,230 con.
I am a level 298, with 8235 int and 8160 con.
Unless I am missing something, if I continue to play 300 min/day, it will take me at about a year to push my int to 9000, at which point I may have a chance to beat this guy. It hardly seems worth the effort. And if I do eventually beat him, the next boss is more than 1000 int higher, which would take at least another year, maybe 2 as the cost of stat points continues to escalate and leveling continues to slow.

By my count, one active player on US server 1 has beaten dungeon 129, 1 additional has beaten 128, and 8 have beaten 127

Has anyone graphed out typical progression in level and stats over time?

first off gratz on beating dungeon 126. I have 1 toon that have beat dungeon 127 on s3 he was lvl 317 warrior and next mod is a warrior with like 12540 str will be till about new years at least before I beat him.
Yes it is frustrating that it takes sooooooo long but it is the way it is and I have gotten use to it. Been fighting dungeon 13 will be 2 years New Years I think.

As for leveling 300-324 takes 2 weeks and I believe 325-349 is 20-21 days at 300 thirst.

updated and Valinor corrections that need to be done can be put in the dungeon thread themselves I added this thread so people could have a place for general chat about dungeons.

My recommendation ..

You should rephrase your 2nd post in that thread to say:

Quote:
All corrections to the master list should be posted in this thread.
All discussions in relation to this thread should be posted here
That way there is less confusion.

Thank you

Thank you

If you look at the first post in this tread it says "
Please chat here for all dungeon talk so as to keep the threads clean for update info only thanks"

I did change the wording some for the dungeon list thread to help clear it up.
