Are we going to see an improved version of the HTML5 for the game?
My browser crashed tonight and when I closed it down and opened everything back up, I had the HTML5 version loaded instead of the Flash version. I noticed the same issues I had before: 1. A giant block of NOTHING on the right hand side of the screen, with the tabs left-justified, but empty space on the right (the Flash version has the game screen centered across the window.) 2. All of the text is fuzzy and it doesn't have the shadow behind it which makes it easier to read. 3. All of the tabs are smaller on the left hand side and squished together. 4. The images throughout the game are fuzzed and very blurry. As I don't drink, that isn't the problem and my glasses generally make it so what I'm reading and seeing is clear. I honestly can't say I have talked to anyone who prefers or uses the HTML5 version of the game, though I am currently doing a survey to find out if that is true or not. The big to-do about the HTML5 version was it was going to help us from crashing every few hours because Flash blew up, but the issues with the HTML5 version make it unlikely for me to want to use it as it is. Do we know anything about if they are going to continue to develop the HTML5 and improve it so it is more user-friendly? Also, from what I understand, the HTML5 version still uses some Flash components, so the crash issues do still exist, whether we are using HTML5 or Flash. Thanks ![]()

HTML5 does not need Flash. Make sure nothing is blocked by popup blockers and the browser supports HTML5. Moreover, if your Flash login data is deleted the game is automatically loaded in HTML5. You need to switch back to Flash.
Please note HTML5 is still a beta version and not completely improved and finished.

I switched back to flash, it was no big deal. It just made me curious.
I did get replies from my survey. Here are some of the responses ![]() "The graphics of HTLM look off, so I use flash." "Tried it several times over the couple of months. It has improved but still has issues. it overheats my laptop for one." "I had been using html5 for a while but it frequently forgot my cookies and I had to turn off sound and turn on item comparison again almost every day so I switched back to flash" I didn't have one person say they are using HTML5 over the Flash. Thanks for your responses. This was me more curious than anything ![]()
