Epic Items from Quest

today i got epic item from quest and i wonder what is the chance of that ? im lv 78 and this is the first epic from quest and whant to ask what is the chance to have epic item in the Weapon Shop ? thx

i don't think there are any chance, it is TOTALLY RANDOM to get epic in the weapon shop

yes you can get epics from quests i have received i think 2 epics with my 7 characters over the different servers but i dont know the % on getting one i would think it is very low like maybe 2%-5%.

5% is the mushroom chance i got more then 80. maybe the epic item drop is somethink like 0,5%

well from my data on many characters my ratio
best: 4734 quests, found 2 epics->0.0422%
worst:10991 quests, found 3 epics->0.0272%

After digging through a lot of sites, I can't find a place where Playa has ever said what the chance is.

Maybe it's just the odds rolling in my favor, but lately, say within the last month or so, epics have been popping up for me rather often. In the shops definitely. From quests....I want to say twice within the last month (the first two times for me(!)), but I may be confusing them with the dungeon pieces I won.

It's funny, because when I look at a piece of gear, I don't look at it as "epic", even though I know that it is, I look at it as "is this the BiS for me at the moment", and as such, things like its epicness get lost on me.
