So... you get locked out of your account...
what is your recourse? just sit back and take it? does not seem right.
I think getting banned without any feedback is probably the worst customer service ever imagined. Dont point me to the TOS. just explain it without the BS. who do I contact and when. NOT FORURM CONTACTS. I know who ITZ is and I dont care. I bring this up because we have experienced banned accounts without explanations, and that is piss poor customer service. so to the mods... dont point me to the TOS. I dont care. this is not working. tell me why accounts are banned with no warning or explanation. Thank you. |

Hello,
as Playa is never willing to discuss banns in public you should try your requests the support ticket way. Easy rule - the legal owner of an account has to write, no friends/team members get any information from the staffs. And the paying costumer needs patience - even well sounded messages can take 5 workdays to get a reply since there seems to be no priority route for the paying and number of incoming tickets can be high. Payment problems equal banns (man in the middle like paypal included) and the payment staff works Monday - Friday normal office hours, not necessarily in every timezone but likely in that of Hamburg/Germany. Have fun mailing them and keep us informed about delays. cheers Ragorth

Ragorth has it. Contacting Support from the registered email of the account is the best way to find out why an account was banned. The lower the penalty period, the less severe the breach of the ToS. For instance, bottling is 999 days, while having inappropriate material, such as a cuss word directed at no one in particular in your description will be 3-7 days normally.
I've requested repeatedly that Playa notify players of a ban and the reason but the tool has not been updated to support such a feature as of yet. |

Also be careful how you talk about bans in a public area as if you ask about so and so ban it can get you banned but a general question about bans are ok.

Bobo is referring to the rule to not discuss or argue the particulars of a ban on the public forum. It's fine to discuss the rules with the community but not, for instance, say bobo was banned 7-days for harassment.
