Some additional information that Leander posted on another forum.

- You can only beat them once, just like the individual dungeons
- If you lose health, you ll carry that over to the next monster
- to complete a dungeon ALL monsters must be killed at once

Now you might think "What the..." but of course your guild will be rewarded with something new and epic for having sent the dungeon boss to eternal sleep...

Maybe the entrance fee could increase if a guild enters it too often, and go back to normal after a while?

Can only complete once per guild or once per character? Either way this sounds like you are potentially penalized for being in a guild that has already completed a dungeon.

Sounds like the price for joining a MAX guild without donating or being an early adopter.

What may be more fair, however, is a timer sort of like how new members have a 24 hour limit on guild battle participation. Maybe a month before a member can join a guild raid. This would also equalize guild founding so one doesn't start a guild just for the raids, but has to earn it through persistence and maintaining a guild relationship instead of running a 10-man Pick-up-guild-raid.

It might be better if there were a couple of different dungeons that replenished daily. But can only be tried once a day or something like that... Maybe three different dungeons...or five.... First dungeon would cap with a lvl 30-40 boss (variable) Second dungeon would cap with a lvl 60-70 Third would be a lvl 90-100, fourth would be lvl 120-140 and final would be lvl 160-170.

if its per guild, then high lev players will leave their main guild, create a subguild for 10 gold, do all guild raids in a couple of days, disband the guild, and go back to their main guild

then rinse and repeat

I bet this is part of the balancing issues going on, and something they are working to avoid.

Maybe they can add a marker to each player, and if said player has a marker for lets say dungeon 2, he can´t participate in a guild raid of that dungeon. That way, noone can guild-hop to redo a dungeon.

I think we might be discussing some of the "balance" challenges the developers are facing, and this is complex.
If they track ONLY by guild, then there is room for guild hoping and 'cheating' the system.
If they track ONLY by player, then some ppl with be excluded from participating with their current guild (which minimizes the team aspect), and potentially makes them more challenging for some guilds, but also minimizes the potential for exploiting.

Good point... I like the it resets every so many days idea, but there should probably be a penalty for every time you have completed it already. Or a player not being able to get an epic from the raid after their first successful run.

Which brings up another thought. If it works like a dungeon where item rewards are based on the lower level between player and monster. Then you are again being penalized if you are lower level than the mobs, but your guild wins the Raid since you are getting an item that is lower than what you can get if you went at a higher level later. But if you don't go, then you lose out on chance to to get any reward later cause your guild or the players in your guild are locked out because they have already completed it.

On a side note hopefully your guild screen will change/update (maybe something on the wall) for each Raid successfully completed.

I have no idea what they are working on, but y'all just gave me an idea. Maybe it will be monsters based on the level of the guild members, similar to the regular dungeon monsters, but you have to beat every monster equal to the level of every member of your guild. That could be interesting. If not everyone participates, it makes the dungeon that much harder.

Rewards do seem to be problematic though. If it is one or a few items per "raid," then how do you make sure everyone has the ability to get it? Or, do you have 1 item that everyone gets and it is scaled based on the individual player's level or the final monster of that raid (whichever is lower)? Good questions that y'all are raising and not easy to answer. I'm glad I have nothing to do with coding and am forums only.

but I dont understand why they are a one-time-only ...
If you can only do one raid a day, or one raid a week with each guild...
That would be much better in my opinion.
At the current (individual) dungeons, you kill one monster each 2 levels.....
I was hoping guild raids would be cool and awesome and could be done unlimited times
